Boost Your Business and Stay Ahead of the Game with Google Ads

Need more online leads for your business? Here’s why you should consider using Google Ads to get more customers and grow your income…

Also called Pay-Per-Click (PPC), paid search advertising is one of the best ways for your business, product or service to show up in an individual’s Google search results. It promotes consistent traffic to your website from people who are already looking for what your business has to offer.

Sounds like a dream, right? Well, that’s because it is!

Unlike traditional forms of advertising where you spend a lot of money upfront without really knowing if it works, paid advertising is flexible and measurable, targeting your specific market.

With Google Ads, you can set your own budget, create and manage your own PPC campaign and, best of all, you only pay for what is working!

Let’s take a deep dive into the top 5 ways GoogleAds will help boost your business.

1. Google Ads Is Flexible & Measurable

With many people sticking to old-school methods of advertising like print media or TV, you can stay one step ahead of the game with a great digital strategy.

Digital advertising, and more specifically, paid search advertising (formerly Adwords), is extremely measurable and flexible, giving you the insights to know what is working and what is not. This way, you aren’t throwing your advertising budget blindly into the wind!

You can keep track of your PPC campaign through an array of metrics and make sure your hard-earned money is being put to the best use.

Flexibility is at the heart of PPC advertising. It allows you to customise your paid ads to suit your business, ensuring the greatest return and a campaign specifically designed for your target market.

Options to set up your Online Search Campaign

Some of the options available to you through Google Ads services are:

Option #1 – Keywords & Match Types

Keywords are what drive paid search advertising. Knowing your business and understanding your target market are crucial for successful PPC campaigns.

People generally search using keywords and you can bid on the keywords that work for your business.

Different match types allow you to narrow down and define what people are looking for so that your ads are as relevant as they can be for your business.

Option #2 – Ad Extensions

Extensions enable you as an advertiser to showcase more information about what your business has to offer. Extensions also improve the visibility of the ad, making it take up more space on the screen, which gives a better impression.

Ad extensions allow for call buttons, location information, additional site links, additional text and more, giving you huge flexibility. And what’s more, Ad extensions don’t change the cost-per-click; the same cost applies whether you have ad extensions or not!

This means the top ads will be extra prominent on the search engine results page, giving a better chance of engagement.

Option #3 – Define Your Audience and Target Market

Knowing your audience plays a significant role in paid search advertising.

With GoogleAds, you can select a location, time of day, language, browser and device type to really hone in, ensuring you are seen by those you are trying to target.

2. Traffic Is Directed Straight To Your Website

Traditional advertising relying solely upon SEO for high-ranking search engine results can take months to bear fruitful results.

Claiming your rank and making your digital presence felt can take a long time and requires some seriously aggressive planning. In some cases, it may be difficult to know if your strategy has worked due to the nature of the digital marketing industry and its highly competitive edge.

Setting up a Google Ads account is simple if you understand how to use the platform effectively. With the right knowledge, you can create an advertising campaign for your business and get on the first page of the search results.

Business start-ups and websites that have limited exposure greatly benefit from this as they are able to advertise a product or service to their target market while also creating brand awareness for free!

Remember, Google only charges you when your ads are clicked, not when they appear in results – so you are essentially getting free advertising and immediate traffic straight to your site.

An online search ad campaign combined with an effective SEO strategy is the winning ticket.

Paid ads will give you a head start but they can be a costly measure if maintained long term. Considering your whole strategy and working with an expert who can combine the two is your best chance for online business success.

3. Keep Control Of The Purse Strings!

One of the best features of digital advertising, including PPC, is that you always maintain full control of the budget.

Google Ads allows you to set a maximum daily budget for each of your campaigns, so you can spend on what matters. You can also set maximum bids for keywords, so you only pay what you’re willing to for any certain keyword.

This enables you to set and work within your budget at all times. It’s good to be aware that your Google Ads cost is commensurate with the frequency your ad will appear in search results.

If you want to boost leads or sales, you can easily adjust your budget to increase the ads and, in turn, direct more qualified traffic straight to your site.

4. Get Priceless Insights About Your Market

Google Ads gathers a massive amount of data about your ideal market, tracking habits on a daily basis.

All of the information acquired by Google Ads, can provide valuable insights for advertisers. This includes information such as:

  • The keywords your ads are being triggered by most.
  • The type of device being used.
  • Time of day, location, and other information.

Knowing and understanding your target audience is crucial for business owners. Using Google Ads will help give you insights and data that could be key to the success and growth of your business and keep you one step ahead of the competition.

5. Get In Front Of Potential Clients Without Leaving The Office

Googling for information is now second nature to most people living with technology.

Google actually processes over 40,000 search queries every second, on average! This translates to over 3.5 billion searches per day and 1.2 trillion searches per year worldwide.  Any business owner who is not making the most of this captive market is seriously missing out.

The most brilliant part of this type of online advertising is that it gets you front and centre and pitching to your target audience without having to leave home or even put on a pair of shoes!

Target the right customers

  • Alright you’ve convinced me – I am going to give paid google ads a go, I’ve always been a bit gunshy and tried to focus on organic traffic with long informative articles and on page SEO, but hey what’s there to lose (other than a bit of ad spend). Will give it a test go with a few hundred and see how much traffic it brings!
